Now, Deadline has confirmed that 47 Meters Down 3 is happening, with production on the movie slated to start in fall 2024. Much like the previous installments, this upcoming film will be written by creator Johannes Roberts and screenwriter Ernest Riera. The major difference will be in the director who, instead of Roberts like the previous installments, will be Patrick Lussier, best known for Dracula 2000 and My Bloody Valentine.
