James Gunn’s Superman stars suit up in new DC Universe fan art, bringing their respective characters to life from the comics. As David Corenswet’s Superman movie is undergoing its principal photography, the new DC Universe is getting closer to finally launching as it replaces the old DCEU franchise. While Gunn has announced the entire cast, he is keeping Superman plot details under wraps, including what the super suits will look like in the film.

Gunn’s Superman movie is more than a month into filming, with several more to go before the film enters post-production. While the DC Universe audience waits for more glimpses of the film, @GothamChief shared a new fan art piece featuring all of the announced Superman actors together as their respective DC characters.

The DC Universe fan art is based on the group selfie that the Superman cast took together after their first table read, as they got ready to finally start their first day of filming. Given that Wendell Pierce’s Perry White casting hadn’t been announced yet when the photo was shared by Gunn, he wasn’t part of the selfie at the time. Outside of Gunn and DC Studios co-CEO Peter Safran, the photo features the following actors:

The new Superman movie will center on a younger iteration of the Man of Steel, as Clark Kent is still early in his journey as the titular DC icon. Despite focusing on his early days, Gunn’s Superman film will not be an origin story, as this will be a story set in a DC Universe where a lot of superheroes are already established. While Hoult has been tapped to play Lex, it is unclear at this time if he will be the main Superman villain or if there is a different player at large.
