According to Collider, the Godzilla x Kong: New Empire box office has passed the $100 million mark domestically. It has also grossed about $115.1 million internationally for a grand total of roughly $215.1 million worldwide at the time of writing.

Despite Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire‘s reviews being lackluster, the movie opened to $10 million in domestic preview grosses on Thursday, a record high for the Monsterverse. Godzilla x Kong went on to make $194 million worldwide in its opening weekend, surpassing Dune: Part Two‘s $182 million to become the biggest opening weekend of the year so far. Its domestic opening weekend of $80 million was also the Monsterverse franchise’s best opening in 10 years, and its second-best opening ever behind 2014’s Godzilla ($93.2 million).
