James Gunn’s Superman officially casts Clark Kent’s adoptive father, Jonathan Kent, in the DCU continuity. The DC Universe’s Superman adds a new member to its cast, this time Superman’s famous earthly father figure, Pa Kent.
On April 16, 2024, The Wrap confirms that Emmy-winning actor Pruitt Taylor Vince has joined the Superman cast in the role of Jonathan Kent. The actor has appeared in Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD and DC’s 2005 Constantine movie.
