During a recent interview with The Times of London, Freeman reacted to the backlash over Miller’s Girl:
[Miller’s Girl is] grown-up and nuanced. It’s not saying, “Isn’t this great?” Are we going to have a go at Liam Neeson for being in a film about the Holocaust?
